Scandinavian Folk Dance Party
This is one of a series of dance parties which are held on the First Saturdays of most months. Everyone is welcome, and no partner is necessary. Older Swedish and Norwegian folk dances are featured, such as hambo, polska, pols, polska and springar, as well as the more modern waltz and schottis. A dance class is held from 7:30pm-8:30pm, followed by a dance party with live, traditional Nordic music provided by fiddlers.
